CCIP has been a non profit organization since 2003 working to enhance and improve the quality of life in the Carolinas by providing services to disenfranchised individuals.

What We Do

The philanthropic work of CCIP was started by Stephoney Carr in 2003 and came about through the personal tragedies she had experienced as a child. 

The organization was incorporated in 2005 following the arrest of a family member for posession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

"I was determined not to let him become a statistic. My then husband and I began helping him to get his record clean and holding him accountable to change his behavior.  We went to companies & spoke to them on his behalf explaining his “situation”.  He has since returned to school and obtained his GED.  He is now gainfully employed and is well on his way to accomplishing his goals.  Stephoney realized that it was so easy to do this for him, but why wasn’t someone doing this for everyone’s child & she realized, “to borrow a phrase from my good friend & brother,

 “If Not Me, Who?”

…and so CCIP was fully born.”

CCIP provides services  to individuals from all areas of society including:

non vilolent ex-offenders, unwed mothers, high school drop outs, the homeless as well as members of the general public who are in need.
